Longhorns Win in Dramatic Fashion, Defeat LD Bell 13-10
The Cedar Hill Longhorns win a closely contested battle with the LD Bell Blue Raiders this past Friday night at Pennington Field. Kicker Ryan Sparkman booted through a 40-yard field goal in the third quarter which would eventually prove to be the winning score and advance the Longhorns into the next round where they will face the Southlake Carroll Dragons.

SMU - A very athletic Cedar Hill team battled The Eagles, No. 1 in the ESPNDallas.com 5A area rankings, but came up short in the Tom Landry Classic. The Eagles showed why they are ranked in the top spot jumping out to a quick lead.
Making his debut at quarterback for Cedar Hill, Andre Alexander went 10-for-20 for 120 yards and a touchdown and added 30 yards rushing.
Varsity Football Tickets
The Cedar Hill Athletic Department will begin selling advanced Varsity Football tickets beginning Thursday, August 25. Pre-game tickets will be sold at Cedar Hill High School Athletic Department (door #33) beginning on Thursday, the week of the game between the hours of 7:15am to 4:00pm through Friday until 1:00. (Curbside service on Friday from noon-1:00!!) Pre-season ticket prices vary. District 5-5A Pre-game admission tickets (home & away) may be purchased for adults at $6.00 and for students at $3.00. All District 5-5A varsity tickets are $7.00 at the game.
